**YouthLink is looking for a Marketing Associate to join our team May 15, 2023, to September 1, 2023.**

**Compensation: $17/hour**

**Hours of Work: 35 hour work week.**

**About YouthLink**

YouthLink Calgary is a registered museum and an independent charitable organization that operates in partnership with the Calgary Police Service to deliver relevant and meaningful content to youth and adults in our School and Public Programs. Our museum and programs engage visitors and focus on crime prevention, forensic science, and the Calgary Police Service’s history and current role in our community.

Our School Programming includes: one day crime prevention and forensic science fieldtrips for Grade 6 students, and half-day fieldtrips for grades 4-12 students. Our Public Programming includes: museum activities for visitors, birthday parties, youth group programs, summer and PD day camps, and special events. Our collection includes records and artifacts dating back to the late 1890s including photographs, negatives, administrative records, personnel files, and over 10,000 objects used by the Calgary Police Service over the course of 100 years.

**The Role of the Marketing Associate**

**Education &Experience**:
**Skill Requirements**:
Applicants who have the appropriate education plus some experience working in marketing or communications will be given preference. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, excellent written and verbal communication skills, well-developed organizational abilities, attention to detail in work, proactive thinking, flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn and be challenged. Applicants with photographic knowledge are encouraged to apply.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour
