The Big Apple 262 Orchard Rd, Colborne, ON K0K 1S0. Kindly note, this is an **on-site** role.

**The Role**

We are currently looking for a **Shipper/Receiver **to join our team. As a member of our team, you'll work in a supportive and positive environment with experienced professionals dedicated to providing exceptional service.

**Your Impact**

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Shipper/ Receiver is responsible for ensuring the accurate and seamless processing of incoming shipments. Other responsibilities will include ensuring correct inventory levels in all storage areas and ensure contents are neat and organized while providing support to all managers and supervisors.
- Verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, records shortages and rejects damaged goods, reports quality issues to General Manager prior to signing off.
- Load and unload goods on trucks and record the daily activities in logbook.
- Sort and distribute incoming courier shipments in a timely manner.
- Problem solves cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries and ensure proper sign offs.
- Manage inventory, arranging it in appropriate storage and staging areas ensuring it is neat and organized so inventory can be easily accessed and counted.
- Move products as required to maintain the correct inventory in the indoor fridges and freezers as well as the outdoors fridges and freezers and storages areas.
- Follow procedures to avoid cross contamination of goods.
- Assist all staff with accessing inventory from high or hard to reach areas.
- Manage inventory of empty skids to ensure they are organized and piled safely and shipped to JVF when required.
- Operate forklift to perform daily responsibilities.
- Work safely and follow legislated and established safe work procedures and practices.
- Other duties as assigned in adherence to The Big Apple GMP policies.

**About You**
- Possess a year of valuable experience as Shipper/Receiver.
- Must have Forklift License.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and management.
- Exhibit a strong ability to multitask and perform efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
