Front Desk Receptionist

**Duties**:

- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and transfer calls to appropriate individuals
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Check patients in and out, collect payments, and provide receipts
- Assist with patient registration and update patient information in the system
- File and maintain patient records and other administrative documents
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Type correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed
- Assist with insurance verification and claim processing
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

**Skills**:

- Previous experience working in a medical office or dental office is preferred
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Proficient in computerized systems for scheduling, data entry, and file management
- Accurate typing skills with knowledge of Google Suite or similar software

We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages. This is a full-time position with regular business hours.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week

**Salary**: $15.50-$19.62 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Tillsonburg, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
