Carpenter-joiner

**WHAT TO EXPECT**:
Are you passionate about construction, specifically carpentry?

Soucy is currently looking for a journeyman carpenter to join our project team on the construction site.

Work is performed on a day shift basis. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Carpenter will have the following main responsibilities:

- Reading and studying plans, drawings, sketches and specifications
- Prepare layouts
- Measure, cut, shape and assemble elements in wood, chipboard, light steel or other materials
- Follow up with project managers and complete site documents
- Adjust and install joinery components
- All other related tasks associated with the carpenter's position

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:

- DEP or AEP in carpentry and joinery
- Experience: Building framing (3 years preferred)
- CCQ certificate of competence
- Good knowledge of formwork/concretework and civil engineering
- Ability to work as part of a team
