Rental Agent

The Car Rental Agent, under the direction of the General Manager, is responsible for processing car rentals as well as an array of administrative duties including reconciling bank statements and fielding customer inquiries. He/she will be responsible for facilitating the in-house lease program which will require delivering credit, and proof of insurance checks. The Car Sales Administrator is also accountable for assisting in clearing inventory by creating and administering sales incentives.

**Job Duties**
- Provide administrative support to all departmental members.
- Perform basic bookkeeping functions.
- Interact with financial institutions with respect to making deposits and reconciling bank statements.
- Complete and review all expense reports, invoices, and other relevant monetary documents.
- Review and prepare all documents, reports and other correspondence materials for the management team.
- Maintain accurate records, including sales reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation.
- Facilitate in house leases.
- Perform financial checks for individuals requesting leasing options.
- Review lease documents with clients or employees.
- Ensure insurance requirement are met.
- Create and administer sale incentives.
- Develop strategies for clearing inventory.
- Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other research.
- Maintain and monitor office supply inventory levels and place orders as required.
- Maintain a professional image and demeanor with all employees, management, executives and visitors at all times.
- Other duties as required.
**Requirements**:
- Driver's License with clean abstract
- Experience in sales processing, or relevant role, considered an asset.
- Proficient use of various office based software including Microsoft Office 2007.
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills.
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Strong Mathematical abilities.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
**Work Conditions**

**Salary**: From $17.50 per hour
