Maple Ridge, Canada Fundamentals Childcare Full time

We are currently looking to add an Early Childhood Educator to our team. This is a Monday to Friday position working in a multiage program with children ranging from 12 months to 5 years.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide outstanding care and supervision of children ages 12 months to 5 years.
- Develop and execute age appropriate programming to foster children's cognitive, physical, emotional and social development.
- Ability to use age appropriate techniques/strategies in guiding behaviour. Assess abilities and observe children for signs of potential developmental or behaviour challenges.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents/guardian and community services. *Effectively communicate with parents/guardians regarding a child's day.
- Ability to work in a team environment with a collaborative approach but also the ability to work independently.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment that protects the health and well-being of children.

**Qualifications**:
Early Childhood Educator License to Practice is required (Infant and Toddler training is considered an asset) 2-5 experience working with children ages 12 months to 5 years Valid First Aid Certification Clean Criminal Record Check References Medical Clearance to work with children class 4 license an asset.
