As a SAS Viya Consultant, the person will be responsible for end-to-end migration process from SAS 9 to SAS Viya, including planning, execution, and post-migration support and thereafter owning it from technology perspective.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the SAS Viya environment.
- Own, represent and consult on a wide range of enterprise initiatives related to SAS and related analytical services.
- Proven experience as a SAS Viya Consultant with excellent understanding SAS 9 architecture. Need to have a track record of successfully leading technology migration projects.
- In-depth knowledge of SAS Viya architecture, administration, and configuration
- Good programming skills in SAS programming languages.
- Prior experience of working closely with technology groups; familiarity of enterprise wide technology, architectural, change, project management policies and methodologies
- Business analysis and consulting skills to precisely understand, articulate and document business requirements and ideas that involve interpretation, analysis and assessment.
- Prior experience in training and mentoring teams on SAS Viya usage.
- Project planning, management and scheduling skills sufficient to prioritize projects and meet project deadlines and budget.
- Presentation/interactive/analytical skills sufficient to convey both factual and conceptual information (including presentation to executives)
- Prior experience of working closely with technology groups; familiarity of enterprise wide technology, architectural, change, project management policies and methodologies
- Business analysis and consulting skills to precisely articulate & understand business requirements and ideas that involve interpretation, analysis and assessment.
- Influencing skills sufficient to obtain support of executive level management and elicit cooperation and consensus form business leaders in the implementation of programs.
- Act as an owner with the ability to adapt and take initiative

**Salary**: $50,612.85-$119,318.70 per year
