Reporting to the Manager of Nutrition and Food Services, this position is responsible for providing nutrition care to Yukon Hospital Corporations’ (YHC) patients, residents and clients as per established policies and procedures.

**Knowledge, skills and abilities required**:

- Knowledge of chronic disease management principles;
- Strong oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to assess, plan, organize and deliver clinical nutrition care to clients in a timely manner;
- Ability to assess and advise clients on required behavioral changes as they relate to diet and nutrition;
- Ability to instruct clients and/or families in nutrition and lifestyle modifications for therapeutic nutrition and management of disease conditions
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and to think critically;
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaboration with others as a member of the interdisciplinary team;
- Ability to organize workload, set priorities and work with mínimal supervision; and
- Cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity.
