**Key Responsibilities**:

- Procure required components for production forecasts.
- Obtain quotes and negotiate costing for product components. (Utilize the purchasing strength of the organization to enhance cost efficiency, explore new supplier options, minimize lead times, and ensure a reliable supply chain.)
- Source alternate vendors and suppliers on an ongoing basis.
- Negotiate for best cost with multiple suppliers, for each required order.
- Establish Terms favorable to Avaria with each Supplier.
- Identify high impact cost reduction opportunities.
- Master & update Avaria’s data base of multiple suppliers for all components.
- Understand, use & update Avaria’s MRP system, as necessary.
- Help reviewing and managing inventory levels for finished goods and packaging components and raise an alert in case of any shortage.
- Order required packaging components and raw materials to meet production forecasts.
- Understand the forecasting process.
- Review forecasting for accuracy related to orders.
- Add redundancy checks for items MRP system lists as required to ensure accuracy & _Just-In-Time_ ordering whenever possible.
- Reconcile non-confirming products with Suppliers.
- Ensure all legal contractual documents, NDA, MSA, Insurance Certificates, CofA’s, are fully executed and in place for all engagements.
- Analyzing the inventory adjustments to identify and reduce the losses and wastage of raw material and packaging.
- Support for Customer Service within Shipping & Warehouse.
- Assist in daily administrative duties and operations related to the Shipping & Warehouse Department.
- Understand & evaluate “ship-in” & “ship-out” practices within the Shipping Department and make sure to meet delivery dates for all shipments.
- Assist in International Brokering of “ship-in” and “ship-out” items for Avaria.
- Seek out and implement favorable “ship in” and “ship out” services for Avaria.
- Participate in ad-hoc value-adding activities.

**Salary**: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:
