- **Job description**_

Our Richmond branch is looking for a Sales Representative to join the team that is a go getter, great at understanding peoples' needs, and determined, to help us sell the products that our customers have grown to rely on. The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sale process, excel at generating leads, building relationships and closing deals.
- **Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:_
- Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise pre-sale and post-sale
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Develop relationships with new and existing customers. Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Prepare, generate, and follow up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders, or determine the reason for the loss of order
- Develop and execute sales strategy through market analysis. Identify ways for continuous improvement of processes
- Maintain distribution system backorder report, associated customer expediting report and notices, and customer notification
- Report industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports
- Provide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
- Deliver, set up, and update display racks, sample boards, etcetera as needed for clients. In Addition, be able to provide excellent product knowledge or training to clients
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- **Qualifications**:_
- Be able to lift 50 pounds (loading sample rack and marketing materials)
- Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with solid organizational, time management and multitasking skills.
- Analytical thinking, math skills, strong memory, and excellent attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Strong computer skills with the ability to effectively use various office-based software (Proficiency in G-suite, Microsoft Office)
- **Education & Experience**:_
- High School Diploma or higher education
- 1+ years of sales experience
- Valid Driver's License is required
- Bonus Experience in distribution sales and flooring industry
