_**RAPS is Seeking a Part-Time Permanent Support Worker to Assist an Individual with an Intellectual Disability (S27)**_
- **Location**:_South Edmonton near University of Alberta---5-minute walk from LRT station_
- **Starting August 1, 2023**_
- **Hours/Days**:_
- Monday & Thursday 8:00am-Noon_
- Tuesdays 8:30am-4:30pm_
- Friday flexible: to be discussed with employer_
- **(12 -20 hours per week: potential for additional hours)**_
- **Rate of Pay**:_$18.00-20.24/hour (depending on qualifications/experience)_
- _Encourage individual’s growth and independence while helping to learn new skills. Provide supervision and companionship, minor food preparation with client, engage in physical activity with the client such as going for dog walks._
- **Qualifications**:_Healthcare background is helpful and/or post-secondary student in nursing, education or psychology. Criminal record check including the vulnerable sector, previous experience with development disabilities, driver’s license and vehicle considered an asset._

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12-20 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.24 per hour
