Cable Plow Equipment Operator

**Job Summary**:
**(Rural Western Canada)**:
Cable plow equipment operators are responsible for the installation of underground infrastructure for fibre optic and associated distribution components for connection of residential and business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain telecommunications plow equipment to install fiber optic cables and other telecommunications infrastructure.
- Work closely with project managers and field technicians to ensure the efficient and timely completion of projects.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working in various outdoor environments.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience operating telecommunications plow equipment or similar machinery.
- Familiarity with fiber optic cable installation techniques and telecommunications infrastructure.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Able to lift 50lbs

**Details on Employment terms**:

- Full time seasonal.
- Weekend and night work could be required during build season.
- Pay based on experience.
