Bechtel has been appointed as the Delivery Partner, supporting our customer Metrolinx as part of an integrated team, to help deliver the signature Ontario Line Subway (OLS) Project, a transformational transit project for the Greater Toronto Area. The multi-billion dollar project scope includes the design build, operations and maintenance of all infrastructure and rail systems associated with 15 stations and over 15km of new alignment.

**Position Summary**

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager to lead the Don Valley Crossing (DVC) project, the scope of which is to construct 2 iconic viaducts over the Don Valley forming a key part of the norther section of the Ontario Line. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, including cost and schedule performance, risk management, and team coordination.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the planning and execution of a cast-in place segmental viaduct construction project, from conception to completion.
- Manage project budget, schedule, and resources to facilitate successful project completion within established constraints.
- Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project success, and develop contingency plans as necessary.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, project sponsors, and team members.
- Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project goals and milestones are achieved.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage and motivate a diverse team of project professionals, including engineers, contractors, and support staff.
- Continuously monitor project progress and take corrective action as needed to keep the project on track.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field. Professional designation is an asset.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of professionals.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks that could impact project success.
- Reference experience guideline 12-15 years in similar roles, and related infrastructure, transit and rail construction projects.
- Experience of working on cast in place segmental viaduct projects.
- Proficiency in project management software tools and techniques.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of professionals.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks that could impact project success.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and project management best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
