**LINE PRODUCER**

It is the responsibility of the **Line Producer** to work directly with the producer to ensure the success of the ICON IP and development department. The line producer is expected to oversee all production managers and coordinators and have a clear understanding of all projects and departmental statuses while maintaining professional and business acumen. They are also expected to excel in multitasking between 3-10 projects at a time with the support of the producer and production team.

**Expectations**
- **Communication**: get on well with a wide range of people, be clear about job descriptions and expectations, ensure everyone understands what needs to happen, when and why, and create a strong team. Respond to any needs and requests in a timely manner in priority order.
- **Pipeline Knowledge**: have a great understanding of the animation pipeline and how each department affects the others.
- **Organization**: plan departmental production schedules and deliverables.
- **Innovation**: think clearly when the unexpected happens, and come up with good ideas even when under pressure.
- **Professionalism**: ensure that, while maintaining a polite and friendly attitude, they retain a high level of professionalism at all times.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Create, maintain and revise as necessary resources and time for the production, coordinating multiple plans, departments, teams and resources where necessary and working in accordance with the overall studio and where appropriate, client schedule.
- Mentor production managers, coordinators and assistants, while also providing guidance and support to department leads and supervisors. Oversee the departmental coordinators, ensuring they are on schedule. Build quota trackers when needed to hand off to departmental coordinators and uphold the stands of expectation for all production managers, production coordinators and production assistants.
- Support the IP team in after-hours meetings and ensure all notes are taken in a confidential manner and only distributed to the approved people. Work closely with the director, CG supervisor and Art Director to ensure all IP, development and test project needs are being met.
- Run point and be the lead producer on any tests and projects that the producer requires. Oversee the entirety of the test production from start to finish and work with the heads of decrements to manage the schedule and resources. Communicate with other production producers any resource/crew information that might pertain to or impact their production. Report to the producer and president all updates. Run client calls when needed.
- Foster and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders: clients, crew, partners, post houses, recording studios, and corporate departments.
- Manage and work with the director, producer and president to oversee the script process, including clearances (where needed), script meetings, delivery, and related budget.
