**Company description**

Whisk Matcha Cafe and Level V Bakery are a boutique plant-based matcha cafe & bakery serving high quality beverages & freshly baked goods. We're looking for a friendly & mature cashier/barista to join our team. This position will report directly to the owners and fulfill all aspects of the cafe and bakery in accordance with the vision and mission of Whisk Matcha Cafe and Level V Bakery.

**Job description**
- Greeting customers with a smile and try to memorize names and faces of frequent customers
- Entering orders in POS system and taking payment
- Familiarizing with both Whisk Matcha menu and Level V Bakery menu and seasonal promos, delivery/reward apps and offers.
- Making recommendations to customers, presenting and explaining the menus, and answering any questions
- Making drinks/sandwiches/soft serve according to recipes, accurately & efficiently
- Picking orders and preparing ready-to-eat food items such as cakes, pastries, and merchandise
- Taking cake orders and assist with cake order pickups
- Answering phone calls for to-go orders and all other inquiries
- Receiving deliveries and follows receiving protocol (check accuracy and temp)
- Coordinating delivery driver pick up or customer’s prepaid item pickup
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the cafe, including daily/weekly cleaning duties, taking out garbage & recycles when full, wipe down tables & chairs.
- Loading/unloading dishwasher, help with handwashing dishes if needed
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be a hardworking individual with an eye for details; have uplifting positive attitude, friendly demeaner, teamwork spirit.

**Salary**: From $16.50 per hour
