The WestRock Midland facility is looking for **Press Helpers** to work with the Press team. This position reports to the Press Supervisors and is responsible setting up each operator and press with the required materials for particular product being produced (e.g. paper, inks, etc.) per job ticket and schedule.

**How you will impact WestRock**:

- Review job tickets and schedule to organize and prepare loads for presses
- Operate load turner effectively
- Communicate effectively with press crew, materials handlers, and supervisors
- Follow instructions and work with press crews on the presses when required
- Bring material to each machine for runs
- Mix inks as needed
- Pull ink, paper, chemicals, special sheets
- Change ink drums
- Maintain assigned areas of the pressroom (e.g. sweeping, emptying trash cans, etc.) as needed
- Stock shelves with incoming inventory or order items when required
- Clean cutting area when required
- Perform other job duties as assigned

**What you need to succeed**:

- Ability to learn how to handle/jog thin weight stocks
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedural manuals, micrometers and tape measures
- Pass basic reading test, colour vision and hue test
- Have basic arithmetic skills
- Ability to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience
- Be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work rotating shifts
