**ABOUT LCW**:
**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
We are looking for an experienced, energetic, hard-working and reliable Furniture Builder to build existing LakeCity furniture as well as custom, ongoing projects.
Becoming a part of the LakeCity team requires empathy and understanding for individuals living with mental illness, and a natural inclination to interact with our supported employees and program participants with respect and professionalism.

- Ability to plan and prioritize work.
- Team-spirited.
- Previous woodworking experience is required.
- Willing to learn and take initiative.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum 2 years woodworking experience required.
- Good motor skills are required - standing for long periods of time, bending, reaching, etc.
- Must be able to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check, provided by LCW.
- Able to read drawings and cut lists is required.
- Basic computer skills are considered an asset.
- Able to work independently and with a team.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs unaided.
- Able to operate tools and machinery with mínimal supervision.
- Able to produce furniture drawings using Sketch-up is considered an asset.
