A key member of the Safety Team, the Claims Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring all cargo claims are reported, investigated, and processed in a timely fashion to reduce potential of increased loss while ensuring claims are managed fairly and in the best interest of the company.
- Manage freight claims process to completion
- Investigation, root-cause analysis
- Maintain records/files/systems
- Securing and utilization of digital records
- Assist with remedial training
- On-site attendance (local incidents)
- Regular weekly reporting
- Maintain OSD Data entry daily from all sources
- Recording OSD In claims module
- OSD reports and reporting
- Tagging OSD freight
- Freight returns (OSD freight that will be returning to delivery or customers
- internal Staff sales organizing / organize salvager to buy OSD
- Disposal of Non salvageable freight and keeping storage unit and racks clean (daily)
- Operate forklift and pallet jack/ hand cart (training provided)
- Providing report on trends, types amount of OSD claim alerts
- Operating trailer reefers & setting / moving bulkheads, load bars straps.
- ability to lift 25lbs

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum Grade or Equivalent
- A background in insurance claims is considered an asset
- Proficient computer/software skills such as but not limited to Microsoft Office

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
