**Role Description**

We are looking to expand by adding two (2) **Excavator Operators** to our construction team. Excavator Operator will be responsible the following job duties:

- Must be proficient in Digging around utilities, cutting grade, Bulk Excavation.
- Perform inspections on a daily basis and report any repairs immediately.
- Communicate effectively with crew via hand signals and radio communications.
- Ensure a safe work environment for our people, clients, subcontractors, and the public.

**Job Requirements**
- Previous experience as an excavator operator in a safe, responsible, and efficient manner and in construction industry.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
- Ability to lift, handle and move up to 50lbs.
- A willingness to work outside in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to help other trades, as well as a keen interest in growing your own career.
- Should have no past criminal record and should be able to get Personnel Security Screening Service (PSSS) clearance under Public Works.

**Working Conditions**
- Willing and able to travel and work on projects away from home base for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to commit to **full time** employment.
- Must wear personal protective equipment.

- Excavation Operating: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
