Dental Hygiene Coordinator

Toronto, Canada Belman Dental Centre Full time

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage the hygiene department in a dental office
- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments for dental cleanings
- Make sure patients are pre-booked for next appointment
- Preferred knowledge of PowerPractice software and Recall Max for booking (Will provide training)
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance claims, and patient inquiries
- Collaborate with the front desk staff to optimize patient flow and provide excellent customer service
- Implement and enforce office policies and procedures related to hygiene services

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar front desk role
- Familiarity with medical terminology and dental office procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as Epic or Dentrix
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
