**POSITION: Production Labourer**
**REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor**
**LOCATION: Moncton Plant**
**SALARY: $23.46 per hour, as per Collective Agreement**

As a Production Labourer, you will report directly to the shift supervisor working at various positions throughout the food processing line.

**HOURLY RATE AND COMPANY PERKS**:

- $23.46 base salary
- We offer a night shift premium of $1.50
- There is a potential for overtime hours in which all time worked in excess of eight (8) hours daily or forty (40) hours weekly, but not both, will be paid at time and one-half.
- $200 Safety Boot Reimbursement
- PPE and safety gear provided (safety glasses, ear plugs)

**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Transporting raw materials, finished products and packaging materials
- Measuring and dumping ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines
- Removing filled containers from conveyers
- Manually packing goods into bags and boxes or other containers
- Feeding and unloading processing machines
- Checking products and packaging for basic quality defects
- Cleaning machines and immediate work areas

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Previous experience working within a food production plant and operating multi-functional process control machinery would be considered an asset

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- We require positive individuals with flexibility to work varying shifts from Sunday-Friday with the possibility of overtime. The hours of work will vary depending on operational requirements.
- A grade 12 education is required

- **Volume of work**: Physically demanding work environment that requires to work in a fast-paced environment and involves repetitive tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling and standing for extended periods
