**Pay Range: $38,000 to $45,000 Type: Executive support**

Basadinaa Property Management Ltd. is seeking an energetic, innovative team player for the position of **Leasing Agent II**. BPM manages 500+ residential cottage lots with over 300 active leases situated at beautiful Crooked Lake, Saskatchewan, in the scenic Qu’Appelle Valley. The Leasing Agent will become the public face of BPM and the key liaison between the property management office and the current and prospective tenants. BPM is looking for a friendly, outgoing individual who enjoys working with people, outdoors and has previous experience in sales, customer and or client relations and can offer competent leasing and property management services.

**Summary**:
The Leasing Agent II is an executive support position which is under the direction of the General Manager. The primary responsibility is to provide efficient property management services that foster positive relationships with the tenants. They will also be responsible for maintaining the property management systems, rent rolls, system maintenance, databases in addition to understanding the legislative and property compliance frameworks. They will assist in the marketing of vacant lots, new tenant inquiries, determine their property needs, and their economic viability. Other business units within the Resort area.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Manage the property management system that maintains tenant data; annual lease rent notices, collections, remittances; compliance inspections; transfer of lease assignments and report the same.
- Coordinate property maintenance for vacant lots, public areas, and property abandonment.
- Inform tenants of any changes to service agreements or development of future amenities.
- Marketing recreational properties and following up with potential tenants.
- Establish and foster positive working relationship and rapport with Tenants.
- Monitor use of public facilities, such as landfill sites; beach and boat launch; parks and roadways.
- Prepare accurate land descriptions by being able to describe and interpret the mapping system.
- Maintain office management functions regarding material and supply management, property management equipment in addition to systems and facility management.

**Skills & Abilities**:

- Must be able to exercise independence and manage their time and schedules, making sure they are aware of properties for sale and referring accurate information to potential tenants.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills to deal directly with tenants and the public.
- Must be highly organized and pay attention to detail and lease specific covenants to be able to comprehend and interpret for the tenant.
- Must be an effective listener and possess the ability to communicate accurately and in a timely manner.
- Must possess problem solving skills to quickly find answers to inquiries.
- Must possess the ability to operate electronic and hard paper filing systems.

**Qualifications**:

- Must possess at minimum a two-year technical administration certificate, in addition to demonstrated experience of at least 5 years of practical work experience and or equivalent experience.
- Certified Leasing Officer (CLO) or Lands Officer designation would be an asset.
- Must be computer literate and be well versed in using GIS, MS Office, systems software, in addition to other office equipment such as copier, fax, security systems, etc.
- Should be knowledgeable of the cottage and tourism industry as well as the resort property market.
- Must possess a valid Saskatchewan driver’s license and a dependable vehicle.
- Must submit a current criminal record check (CPIC) and 3 **written** references, with resume.
