**Dietary Aide**

We have a Permanent Part-time opportunity available for a **Dietary Aide**.

The Dietary Aide works under the direction of our Manager Food and Nutrition and fulfills a variety of tasks within the dietary department. In this job, you will have the opportunity to:

- assist the Cooks in food preparation
- complete food preparation and storage duties, including the safe monitoring of food temperatures
- assist in delivering food to residents, visitors, and others within the facility
- setting up carts, trays, and tables
- cleaning equipment, dishes, work areas, etc.

As a **Dietary Aide, **you will build lasting and meaningful relationships with your colleagues as well as the residents in our Home while doing work you enjoy.

**What You will Bring to Us**:

- Completion of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma along with the Food Service Worker Program
- Clear Vulnerable Sector and Police Record check
- Food Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Desire and passion to work in Long-term Care/ An Interest in helping others
- Detail-Orientation, Time Management Skills, Patience, Respect, Positivity, Motivation, Ability to have Fun
- Ability to work shifts - days (630 AM - 300 PM) and evenings (1130 AM - 800 PM). Part-time staff typically work 5 shifts in a 2-week period with opportunity to pick up additional hours

**Experience**:

- dietary aide: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
