Guest Service Agent

Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Guest Service Agent. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and has excellent communication skills.
**Duties**:
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out processes
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Process reservations and manage room assignments
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of personal information
- Operate phone systems, including answering calls, transferring calls, and taking messages
- Assist with concierge services such as arranging transportation, making restaurant reservations, and recommending local activities
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Multilingual skills are a plus, particularly fluency in languages commonly spoken by hotel guests
- Familiarity with front desk operations and hotel reservation systems is advantageous
- Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to handle multiple phone lines efficiently
