Arborist Apprentice

Timberscapes Inc. provides industry leading tree removal & maintenance to its clients with the safest & most efficient equipment available. Our 112’ Grapple Saw Crane removes the need for climbers during dead or dangerous removals.

Crew Responsibilities:

- Work with our Certified Arborist to complete tree removal & maintenance through Arborist best practices. Perform ground duties including running rigging ropes, brush removal & chipping, stump grinding & site clean up;
- Assist with daily maintenance & inspections of trucks & equipment

Experience Requirements:

- Climbing/rigging experience would be an asset
- Competent driving truck & trailer
- G license mandatory. DZ/AZ an asset. Willing to train for upgrade of license
- Experience operating tree service equipment; chain saw, bucket truck, stump grinder, mini skid steer & chipper;
Personal requirements:

- Outgoing personality, positive attitude & team oriented;
- Desire for challenging physical work
- Self motivated with ability to problem solve & a continued drive for personal growth
- Willing to work long hours in all weather condition when required
- Clean driving abstract.

Compensation ranges between $18-28 per hour dependent on experience. Signing bonus & equipment allowance.

**Salary**: $18.00-$28.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
