Sushi Maker

Located next to Concordia subway station (1-2 minutes walking), YEN is looking for sushi rollers that love what they do. If providing exceptional quality food is your main priority, then we know you will love being a part of the YEN team.

It will be your primary responsibility to help the sushi chef to prepare the highest quality sushi plates/rolls consistently and effectively. We will provide you with only the best ingredients to give you the opportunity to make a significant impact on the quality of food produced at our sushi bar and ultimately the overall experience extended to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Primarily performs sushi preparation according to recipes or instructions and must efficiently execute the YEN menu.
- Preparing traditional Japanese sushi rice, chopping, slicing, and filleting various kinds of fish, and placing orders for supplies as needed. You should also be able to customize customers’ orders according to preferences and food allergy considerations.
- Partner with the restaurant staff to ensure the safety and sanitation of our facilities are in compliance with Health and Safety regulations as well as YEN’s high standards.

Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
