We are a 50 suite, privately owned, Retirement Residence offering supportive care located within the village of St Jacobs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Hold a valid registration with the College of Nurses in Ontario.
- Hold a current CPR certificate.
- Knowledge of RHA and other relevant legislation.
- Ability to assess all resident wellness needs.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate resident wellness needs.
- Work in close collaboration with the General Manager, attending physicians, residents, family members, external care providers and all other department managers.
- Manage and direct Infection Control throughout the residence with other Manager Members.
- Manage and direct all team members of the Wellness Department.
- Assist and set up required training and on-boarding of Wellness Department Staff.
- Experience in assisted living and/or long term care an asset.
- Demonstrate competence in assessment skills, injections/medication administration, follow up and triage.
- Ability to delegate and oversee that care is being provided according to regulation and St Jacobs Place standards.
- Possess written, verbal, and computer skills for effective communication and the ability to facilitate small group presentations and trainings.
- Competent in organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrate proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office and be familiar with EMAR medication administration system.
- Ability to travel to assess potential residents as required.
- Successfully complete TB Skin Testing and Vulnerable Sector Check.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 35 per week

- CPR Certification (preferred)
