**Job Overview**:
GME Excavation Sewer & Water Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. As the CFO, you will oversee all financial aspects of our organization and provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team. This is a key leadership role that requires strong financial acumen, business development expertise, and the ability to drive organizational growth.

**Duties**:

- Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support the company's goals and objectives
- Manage the budgeting process and ensure accurate financial forecasting
- Oversee financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Conduct regular account reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting principles
- Provide leadership in financial planning and analysis, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
- Collaborate with other departments to drive business development initiatives and identify new revenue streams
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and stakeholders
- Lead the corporate finance function, including capital management, risk management, and treasury operations
- Guide mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain strong internal controls

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior finance role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- In-depth knowledge of financial services industry trends and best practices
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to negotiate effectively and make sound business decisions
- Proficient in corporate finance principles and practices

At GME Excavation Sewer Water Inc., our journey began as a fully incorporated entity in June 2023, building upon our earlier experiences in the commercial buildings division. With a rich history of over 60 years in Heavy Civil, including industrial and commercial services, and Sewer Water construction within the group, we take pride in offering various specialized services.

We excel in Sewer and Water projects, ranging from subdivisions to residential/commercial tie-ins, and we're well-versed in LDS systems for Commercial and Multi-family developments. Our expertise extends to bulk and finish excavation, rough grading, and base work. As of February 2024, we are delighted to announce that GME holds COR certification, reinforcing our unwavering commitment to maintaining a secure and hazard-free workplace.

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
