Stanstead, Canada Stanstead College Full time

Stanstead College is looking for an Arena Attendant at the Pat Burns Arena. This position reports to the Arena Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain the Zamboni (training offered on the job).
- Perform minor maintenance and painting repairs.
- Perform janitorial duties to maintain a clean facility.
- Maintain a safe environment for all facility users and workers and report hazards to supervisor.
- Follow and prioritize assigned duties.
- Provide quality customer service to a wide variety of arena facility users by answering questions, providing assistance with concerns and directing them to the correct person.

Qualifications:

- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work proactively and independently, without constant supervision
- Fluent in English and French (oral)
- Asset - experience operating a Zamboni

Schedule:

- 40 hours/week
- Evenings and weekend shifts

Le Collège Stanstead est à la recherche d’un préposé à l’aréna Pat Burns. Ce poste relève du superviseur de l’aréna.

Responsabilités:

- Opérer et entretenir la Zamboni (formation offerte sur place).
- Effectuer des réparations mineures et de la peinture.
- Effectuer des tâches de conciergerie pour maintenir les lieux propres.
- Maintenir un environnement sûr pour tous les utilisateurs et travailleurs de l’aréna et signaler les dangers au superviseur.
- Suivre et prioriser les tâches assignées.
- Fournir un service à la clientèle de qualité à une grande variété d’utilisateurs de l’aréna en répondant aux questions, en fournissant une assistance en cas de problème et en les dirigeant vers la bonne personne.

Qualifications:

- Solides compétences organisationnelles
- Capacité à travailler de manière proactive et autonome, sans constante supervision
- Dois parler couramment l’anglais et le français
- Atout - expérience de conduite d’une Zamboni

Horaire:

- 40 heures/semaine
- Quarts de soirées et fins de semaine
