**Island Mix Restaurant & Lounge Pickering is Hiring**

As the primary point of contact for guest interactions you will be responsible to ensure that patrons have an enjoyable dining experience.

Currently we are hiring for Friday 4:30pm-11:30pm Saturday 5:00pm - 11:30pm

Key Requirements:

- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Flexible availability
- Prior experience working as a server/host/hostess and customer service is an asset
- Excellent communication abilities
- Smart Serve Certified (For Serving)

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers in a friendly manner by offering them a good first impression and inquire about their needs
- Take reservations according to established standards
- Making menu suggestions and describing the dishes to guests
- Delivering food to tables
- Overseeing table maintenance
- Monitoring guest satisfaction
- Cleaning & Maintaining Standards
- Inventory restocking
- Preparing for reservations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25-30 per week

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Weekend availability
