**Minimum Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Registered Speech Language pathologist
- RASP Category A professional in British Columbia
- ESDM introductory workshop (completed within 3 months of the position start date)
- Availability at minimum one full day per week alternating between a Monday/Wednesday/Friday and a Tuesday/Thursday week to week
**Preferred Qualifications**
- ESDM Certified Therapist Credential
- Extensive experience working with toddlers and preschool children diagnosed with ASD
- Experience programming and overseeing Augmentative and Alternative Communication programs

We are an early intervention clinic providing specialized therapy for young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Specifically. We provide welcoming, developmentally appropriate, and effective interventions to reduce the challenges associated with a diagnosis of Autism in our students. We primarily implement the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) treatment model and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) interventions.

**About the Position**
Our **Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP’s) **support both client care and paraprofessionals with speech and language objectives and strategies within the company. This position provides the opportunity to work both directly with clients in 1:1 or small group sessions, and as a collaborative team member with experienced Certified ESDM Therapists, Senior and Junior Behaviour Analysts supporting speech and communication objectives across a variety of clients. This is an ideal position for those looking to work in a team setting implementing naturalistic developmental behavioural interventions. Clinicians at UP develop and maintain strong rapport with staff and clients and deliver supportive care with a high degree of excellence. **Primary Responsibilities**
- Co-develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client speech and language needs
- Lead social group programming
- Collaborate with clinical team members to monitor, update, revise, and document individualized treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Provide training, support, and coaching to Behaviour Interventionists
- Educate parents, families, and caregivers on strategies to improve communication skills and more.
- Provide direct therapy services to clients with various speech and language disorders/needs.
- Participate in clinical meetings and projects
- Report on caseload metrics
