Reporting to the Director of Community Services, the Mesa Coordinator will provide strategic, operational and administrative leadership that aligns with the Mesa mandate. This position will lead the planning and implementation of programs, resources, comprehensive support services and wrap-around care for all community members to thrive.

**Responsibilities**:

- Performs the responsibilities of the position within the legislative and regulatory standards set out in the applicable Provincial and Municipal Acts.
- Performs the responsibilities of the position consistent with the values, and operational policies of the County of Renfrew.
- Responsible to plan a comprehensive evaluation framework for the Mesa Program. This includes reviewing satisfaction surveys, caseload and staffing requirements, data collection techniques and performance indicators, conducting needs assessments, and making recommendations for improvement based on best practices, conduct evidence-based research methods, and create a mixed methods evaluation of the program outcomes for publication.
- Presents the program and reports on outcome data to stakeholders.
- Provides media relations to communicate the impact of the Mesa Program.
- Establishes quality improvement framework including strategies and enhancements to policies, procedures and guidelines and assists in the establishment and implementation of best practice guidelines.
- Develops and implements policies, procedures, and protocols, to meet client and community needs.
- Works with the leadership team to ensure efficient and effective management of the Mesa program.
- Assists with the preparation, tracking and reporting of the Mesa budget.
- Acts as a key point of contact for coordination of all Mesa activities.
- Supports a comprehensive communication and engagement strategy in collaboration with all partners and communities.
- Supports day-to-day operations of Community Services, Development and Property and Paramedic Service and partner organization staff providing Mesa activities across the County of Renfrew and City of Pembroke.
- Protects own health and health of others by adopting safe work practices, reporting unsafe conditions immediately, and attending all relevant in-services regarding occupational health and safety. Follows all guidelines for employees and employers as legislated under the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act.

**Qualifications**:

- University Degree or Post-Secondary Diploma in a social services or related human services field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field with experience in leadership.
- Experience working in interdisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects.
- Experience developing policies and procedures.
- Effective interpersonal communication, organizational skills, and the ability to set priorities, prioritize, and delegate high level work under tight timelines with tact and independent judgement.
- Strategic thinking and planning that translates into effective implementations.
- Self-directed, highly motivated with excellent and effective interpersonal and communication skills (both written & oral).
- Results oriented; excellent financial management, multiple initiative management skills, risk management and operational planning skills.
- Ability to manage competing demands and meet demanding timelines.
- A clear demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
- Valid drivers licence and access to reliable transportation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $46.88-$52.76 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
