Strategy, Planning and Leadership
- At all times act in the best interest of the company by performing duties in a dignified and professional manner that will protect and maintain Diverge Business’s integrity, Mission, Vision and Culture;
- Meet regularly with organizational leaders, to facilitate resolution of issues/problems between business units and/or departments;
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner;
- Communicate effectively with each department to ensure alignment and clear expectations for operation teams;
- Accountable for the development of the Operational Unit’s Strategic Plan and Budgets, in accordance with the Executive Team’s directives;
- Review and approve Monthly Financial Statements and performance, as well as present at Monthly Management Meetings;
- Collaborate with Senior Leadership Team on Strategic Development of the overall organization;
- Responsible for developing a high-performing, productive and ethical team, at the assigned Operational Unit. Management and Operational Development Financial - Develop and monitor departmental performance against goals to ensure that progress is being made and that corrective action is taken, if necessary;
- Develop and monitor financial performance to ensure the Company’s departments are meeting or exceeding budgetary commitment;
- Prepare and monitor Operational Budgets, weekly/monthly/quarterly - Accountable for approving A/P, Payroll, and any other transactional payments associated with plant operations. Operations - Monitor third-party businesses and suppliers to ensure that they are efficiently and effectively providing the needed services and supplies while staying within budgetary limits;
- Responsible for strategic sourcing/procurement to ensure Diverge Business’s practices, policies and expectations are met, regarding all sourcing activities;
- Responsible for creating and fostering a safe working environment at the Assigned business unit unit. People - Develop and implement the following Diverge Business’s initiatives, at the assigned Operational Unit: - Recruit, retain, and develop talented workforce;
- Formal Orientation, Training, Onboarding and Mentorship Programs;
- Create and maintain Role Descriptions and Operational Structures;
- Formal Performance Management and Offboarding Program;
- Employee Engagement, Organizational Culture, and Purpose;
- Create and maintain appropriate Employee Documentation systems and processes;
- Update and implement Diverge Business’s Health and Safety Programs at assigned Operational Unit;
- Collaborate on any Performance or Legal related matters;
- Manage the morale in the departments by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers, and customers;
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints which are escalated from the departments;
- Analyze the Customer’s concern and present options to resolve issues;
- Interact with the customer/vendor community, as well as with industry-related organizations as part of ongoing duties and increasing knowledge base;
- Measure and monitor key customer service areas;
- Motivate, inspire, provide and accept feedback to and from customers and employees. Information Systems, Technology, And Development - Develop and implement new business strategies for creating or improving processes and procedures to improve performance;
- Lead, support, and participate in product development strategic planning and implementation;
- Act as a champion for the implementation of the Organization’s Information Systems and Technology. First-year Priorities - Learn in and outs of Diverge Business. - Develop processes to ensure the project is a success, plan, execute, and monitor - Develop business strategy with senior management to implement vision and goals for 2023 and beyond. - Strategy planning for 1,3 and 5 years with management team. - Work closely on hiring and developing people to ensure the right people are in the right positions; build the capacity of the business;
- Establish safety policy and procedures and ensure all employees are following them;
- Building a culture of trusting relationships with Direct Reports, Peers, HR Team and Executive Team; And any other duties that are assigned by the CEO/President

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

- Didsbury, AB T0M 0W0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- plant management: 2 years (preferred)
- production management: 5 years (preferred)
