Highway Tank Tester / Inspector

Evolution Inspections is currently looking for Highway Tank Tester / Inspector Technician to join our team. We offer regular work as well as the opportunity for overtime, competitive wages & benefits.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reviewing work orders, project planning & project completion
- Inspection & testing to highway and portable tanks for the transportation of dangerous goods to the CSA B620 Code
- Modification, repair and assembly to highway and portable tanks for the transportation of dangerous goods to the CSA B620 Code
- Rebuilding pumps, valves, hose testing, B31.3 pipefitting
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure the work done meets the manufacturers specifications and legislated requirements.
- Completing service reports and work orders.

**Requirements**:

- Class 5 driver’s license
- Physically fit, ability to fit and work in confined spaces
- Organized, motivated, provide a high level of attention to detail
- Speak, read, and write fluent English, effective communication
- Ability to work effectively unsupervised or as a team

**Experience**:

- Mechanical, Welding and pipefitting backgrounds would be considered an asset
- Personal toolbox and tools considered an asset

**Environment**:

- This job is performed in a shop as well as outside in all climates, we ask all employees to be prepared for variable weather conditions

**Schedule**:

- 8-10-hour shift regular Mon-Fri
- Weekend & Overtime as necessary
- Shop & Field work, able to work away from home as required (typically no more then 5 days at a time)

**Salary/Wages**:

- $22.00 to $34.00 /hour dependent on experience
