**Server - Winifred's English Pub**

**Summer Position**

Housed in a Victorian house with a 150 seat Waterfront Patio, Winifred's is a community hotspot serving up house-made pub fare paired with local beers, cocktails and great wines. If this sounds like the right fit for you then we want to hear from you

**The Details**:

- Ensure guests interactions are handled in a professional + courteous manner, in accordance to our service standards at Winifred's
- Adhere to Winifred's + the AGCO’s policies on responsible alcohol service
- Remain consistently present on the floor during high volume services, working with other team members to ensure that all guests receive an exceptional experience
- Develop + demonstrate a high-level of brand knowledge, including cocktail + food offerings
- Actively seek out details from guests, offering personalized recommendations + effectively using upselling techniques to enhance the guests’ experience + drive sales
- Engage guests with upcoming events
- Assist with opening + closing duties, including clearing + cleaning tables, stocking service stations + other tasks as assigned, to maintain the cleanliness of stations + tables in the restaurant
- Embody the spirit of community-building by creating memorable moments for guests

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers
- Take orders from customers and enter them into the point-of-sale system
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Ensure compliance with all state and local laws regarding the sale of alcohol
- Follow all food handling procedures to ensure the safety of our customers

**Skills**:

- Strong math skills, including basic math and retail math
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of brewing and different types of alcohol
- Cash handling experience

**Requirements**:

- Must be at least 19 years old
- Previous experience as a bartender or in the food industry is preferred
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
