- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation procedures
- Collaborate with other construction workers, such as carpenters and electricians, to ensure efficient project completion
- Adhere to all safety regulations and plumbing codes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating pipe lengths and angles
- Mechanical knowledge to understand how plumbing systems work
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics to determine pipe layout
- Familiarity with power tools used in plumbing installations and repairs
- Previous experience in a related field such as carpentry or welding is a plus
