Journeyman Pipefitter

A&B is seeking an experienced Pipefitter-Journeyman Red Seal for projects located throughout Saskatchewan and Alberta. This role will be based out of our Regina Office. Travel will be required for work in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta on certain Projects.

**Responsibilities**
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout requirements.
- Cut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines.
- Select type and size of pipe required.
- Measure, cut, and thread pipe to required shape using hand and power tools.
- Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems.
- Test system for leaks using testing equipment.
- Clean and maintain pipe units and fittings and flush system.
- Remove and replace worn components and reactivate system.
- Ability to operate a 6,000 pound Picker truck.
- Bolting up of fabricated spools along with installation and removal of Launcher/ Receiver Barrels.
- Assisting with ILI runs as required.

**Work Conditions.**
- Remote Construction sites; Various Projects.
- LOA provided when on-site.
- Overtime as required.

**Requirements**:

- Be a registered apprentice.
- Motivated and willing to learn.
- Valid recognized Journeyperson Trade Certificate or equivalency document
- Inter-Provincial Red Seal Certificate is preferred.
- 2nd or 3rd Year apprentice will be considered
- CSTS-09 certification.
- OSSA Fall Protection certification.
- OSSA Aerial Work Platform certification.
- H2S Alive certification.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
