**LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR - SASKATOON HEAD OFFICE**

NSC Minerals is a major supplier of bulk salt and calcium chloride in Western Canada and the Northern
United States. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as our Logistics
Supervisor. This position is based out of our Head Office in Saskatoon. We offer a competitive base salary, bonus structure, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Reporting to the Director of Logistics, you are the liaison that ensures the day to day needs of our customers and transportation partners are being met, and that the duties and responsibilities of our
Logistics Department are being handled in the most professional and efficient manner possible.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Promote and maintain frequent, honest, open communication both internally and externally, with various team members, departments, sites, customers, and transportation partners
- Be committed to ongoing improvement and encourage teamwork and collaboration
- Support the Director of Logistics in implementing programs and policies that bring efficiencies, increase positive customer and carrier experience, and reduce costs
- Assist in forecasting/inventory monitoring/sourcing decisions
- Review freight proposals and make recommendations for contract award based on service capability, commitment to safety, and price
- Ensure transportation partners are compliant with our policies and procedures and are meeting performance expectations
- Ensure department KPIs are being met

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Excellent critical and forward-thinking ability, attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong work ethic: approaches work with a sense of purpose and urgency
- Well-developed time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks; flexibility to adjust to changing priorities while maintaining a calm, confident and controlled demeanor
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the logistics field preferred; Industry recognized training/certification considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required, as sporadic independent travel may be necessary
