**About Us**

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Yard Associate to join our Warehouse Team. The associate will ensure that the yard is consistently maintained and safe for operations during 7:00am - 4:00pm shift.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities **include, but are not limited to the following:

- Load/unload trucks and replenish stock when required
- Accurately pick, stack, wrap and stage inbound and outbound freight
- Receive and locate product using RF technology in alignment with company’s processes
- Execute work in the prescribed sequence to ensure quality, productivity, and safety targets are met
- Complete cycle counts and report discrepancies and/or damaged goods to supervisor or manager
- Complete daily pre-inspections of warehousing equipment (ie: Counter Balance and Reach Trucks) when operating and report any malfunctions.
- Once properly trained, operate all warehouse equipment effectively and safely
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies and report any observed safety hazards immediately
- Use professional language and maintain a professional appearance (e.g., hygiene, grooming) when interacting with others
- Report any unsafe work conditions, accidents/injuries and/or near-misses in a timely basis
- Responsible for general yard upkeep, maintenance and safety.
- Complete other tasks, as assigned by manager

**Requirements**:

- Completion of high-school or equivalent
- Previous Work experience in a warehouse/distribution environment
- Experience working with RF scanners
- Must have prior experience for Counter Balance/ Raymond Reach
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

- Ability to stay on your feet for long periods at a time
- Willingness to work in varying work and weather conditions
