The Peninsula and Norgarden are two premier retirement communities in the lovely seaside town of Sidney, BC.

We are hiring for a unique position (multi-tasking at its finest), which combines your passion for working with seniors, with working as a greeter, minor maintenance such as painting suites, serving in our dining room and the transport of residents to various appointments.

The hours of the shift are 8am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend work may be required.

**What do you need to qualify for this position?**
- Experience with seniors is definitely an asset
- Criminal Record check (we pay)
- Standard first aid and CPR
- Ability to climb ladders, paint and deal with minor maintenance issues
- Clean drivers license abstract for the past 5 years
- Valid Class 5 license for the Province of British Columbia
- Reliable vehicle
- Ability to commute to Sidney (by the Ferries)

All employees must have a valid vaccination passport and are currently required to wear a mask while in the building.

This is a temporary position and is a result of the Ministry of Health Single Site Order, funding is reviewed annually in March.

**Salary**: $22.32 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
