Landscaping Foreperson

**Foreperson**

This is a year round position. We are looking for someone that wants to pursue a career in this industry.

WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH
- We are a professional irrigation company operating in PTBO and the Kawarthas. We work hard to provide quality systems to our clients and we take pride in maintaining good relationships with these clients as well as other contractors. We work on a variety of job sites from residential to lakefront properties, from typical commercial contracts to golf courses. DUTIES
- Ensure materials are correct, loaded and taken to the jobsite
- Circle check and log book filled out daily
- Ability to work independently
- Self-motivated and willing to learn
- Able to motivate and guide a crew
- Able to work with locates for utilities and read a site plan
- Able to follow verbal and written directions
- Good problem solving abilities
- Ensure assigned work progresses on schedule
- Maintain equipment and ensure use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Clean up with keen attention to detail so site is left in excellent condition once work is completed

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must have valid G license
- Must be able to provide employer with drivers abstract as per CVOR requirements.
- Must have steel toe boots
- Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly
- Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions
- Must be able to drive and tow equipment and operate machinery
- Must have leadership experience or a strong desire to learn and grow
- Knowledge of submersible pumps, jet pumps and pressure tanks an asset but not necessary

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
