**Job description**

L & A Pharmacy" is nestled in the Toronto East end, we pride ourselves on fostering a warm and welcoming environment that feels like a family. Our Pharmacy has been serving the neighborhood since 1975 providing top-notch care to our valued patients, and we're excited to welcome a new Pharmacy Assistant to our ranks.

**Duties**:

- Assist pharmacist in dispensing medications and preparing prescriptions
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Enter patient information and prescription details into the pharmacy system
- Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure patient satisfaction
- Prepare medication orders for delivery or pickup
- Handle cash transactions and process insurance claims
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a pharmacy assistant or technician is an **Asset**
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
