**Position: Shipping Personal**

Shipping Personnel are the core of the Shipping Department. This position ensures that orders are reviewed, picked, and handled appropriately, and delivered as requested. Shipping Personnel operate forklifts safely, and load or unload trailers with incoming or outgoing orders.
- Assist in organizing the orders.
- Assist Shipping Clerk in writing up orders.
- Inventories - daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly.
- Load picked orders or stock transfers onto trailers.
- Operate forklift.
- Pick orders.
- Quality records.
- Safety.
- Shipping scrapped material.
- Wrapping produced stock using pallet wrappers.
- Sundry duties as required.

**Responsibilities / Authority.**
- Assist Lead Hand with ensuring quality of work carried out.
- Trained in and able to carry out all duties with regard to quality as outlined in the Work Instructions, including quality checks when receiving produced stock.

Expected hours: 40 per week
