Cornerstone is seeking a drafter to join our growing firm. As a drafter, you will be responsible for the drafting of technical drawings in a range of disciplines. Working with and under the supervision of the in-house engineers, as well as external drafters, designers, and architects, you will prepare clear, concise, and easy to understand structural and civil drawings to be used for permitting and construction by our clients. Additionally, you will prepare accurate structural details and templates using company and industry standards. The ability to juggle many projects on the go while paying extreme attention to detail is a must for this position

**CHARACTER & REQUIREMENTS**

1. Proficiency in AutoCAD (proficiency in Revit is preferred).

2. Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular).

3. Certificate or Diploma in drafting.

4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

5. Be present and ready to work at the allotted starting time.

6. Be honest and professional in their work and communication with others within and outside of the office.

7. Focus their entire energy to their work during work hours.

8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

9. Detail oriented, logical, and analytical thinker.

10. Excellent time management skills.

11. Be self-motivated and able to follow directions.

12. Able to work alone and in teams.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Work on the preparation of engineered drawings along with the engineers in the office.

2. Prepare structural details as required.

3. Follow Cornerstone's organizational manual where applicable.

4. Communicate with other team members, make comments, and ask questions when required.

5. Turn in all required paperwork to the Administrative Assistant so that it can be properly recorded and filed.

6. Record and file paperwork when required.

7. Attend meetings (onsite and offsite) with other team members and/or clients as required.

8. Engage in professional development when available especially on understanding the full capabilities of any software used or new software that has become available.

9. Maintain a clean, professional work environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $36,000.00-$42,000.00 per year
