**About us**:
Mindful Kids Childcare program believes that every child has their own unique way of learning and exploring, and as teachers we will educate the children in a way that matches the children’s individual needs. We plan to educate children in a well-rounded atmosphere.

We are an in-home Multi-age program, with an 8:1 ratio. This position will allow for 2 staff to be working at once, which will make it an 8:2 ratio.

**Terms of Employment: Monday and Tuesday, 1:00-5:00pm.**

**Qualifications**
- A valid Early Childhood Education Assistant Certificate.
- A cleared criminal record check.
- Typically, one to two years experience in a childcare centre, with good references.
- A physician’s letter stating that the applicant is mentally and physically capable of working at a childcare facility.

**Job Summary**:

- This is an entry level position, with the potential to develop into the more senior roles of Early childhood Educator.
- Assist the Early Childhood Educator and Supervisor as directed, for daily activities and duties, while gaining experience and developing skills to progress into more senior positions.
- This is a part-time, regular position.

**Job Duties**:

- Support the Supervisor and Early Childhood Educator(s), with daily tasks.
- Attend to children’s physical needs.
- Assist the Early Childhood Educator in preparing daily program plans and monthly theme-based activity calendars.
- Assist in conducting daily programming, after day-to-day activities are complete.
- General cleaning and housekeeping duties.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8 per week

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift

- Coquitlam, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
