**Job Summary**
- Oversee and execute renovation and maintenance projects for residential income properties.
- Lead a team of carpenters and subcontractors, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Measure, cut, and install framing, drywall, and other building materials.
- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out structural components and fixtures.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
- Manage project supplies and tools, ensuring they are maintained and used efficiently.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee and lead construction projects from planning to completion
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to execute projects accurately
- Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, trim work, and cabinetry installation
- Manage and coordinate the work of carpenters and apprentices on-site
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety guidelines, and quality standards
- Utilize a variety of tools and equipment proficiently

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a carpenter, with a minimum of 2 years in residential renovations and maintenance.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and oversee multiple projects.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Extensive knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
