Industrial Laundry Attendant/ Delivery Truck Driver

We have an immediate Fulltime opening for an Industrial Laundry Attendant/ Delivery Truck Driver (Commercial License is not required) Truck is a 20ft cube van. To work a 12 hour day shift rotation of 3 days on and 3 days off as a team of two, with a third attendant to help on weekdays from 7 to 3:30. We are a specialized facility serving the Industrial Sector, and the Firefighting Industry. Previous experience in laundry services would be considered an asset as is experience driving a vehicle larger than a car.
Job will entail daily pickup and delivery of garments at an industrial plant facility in Pictou County. Upon arrival back at location dirty garments will be catalogued, tagged, weighed, documented and loaded into the washers; after washing, garments will be transferred to dryers, and then folded, and packed for transport back to customer the next day. This position will operate 365 days a year on the 3 on 3 off rotation. The successful applicant must be in good physical condition and able to lift a large amount of laundry bags into the truck, some of which weigh as much as 40 pounds.
