We are currently recruiting for the position of a full-time **CPIC Validator**. In this position you will compile, verify and audit all records entered on the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) ensuring the RCMP, Ministry of Community Safety, Ministry of the Attorney General and North Bay Police Service policies and procedures are followed. The schedule will be Monday to Friday from 0800 hours to 1600 hours, based on a 35 hour work week.
Prerequisite:
- Successful completion of pre-employment testing.
- Knowledge of CPIC and NICHE RMS.
- Proofreading ability.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication skills.
Principal Tasks:
- Audit and validate all records entered on CPIC by North Bay Police Service members, by extracting validation and purge reports online via CPIC system
- compile detailed reports and re-assign corrections and updates to records staff and other members.
- Participate and perform CPIC audits.
- Maintain oversight of RMS CPIC task list and ensure up to date.
- Analyze and research with regards to new procedures and CPIC requirements.
- Investigate queries or potential inaccuracies reported by other agencies using CPIC.
- Provide coverage for other full time clerical members when required.
- Perform additional duties as required.
The annual salary range for this position is $58,015 - $66,897
