This full-time role involves overseeing operations, promoting safety, and ensuring equipment reliability. In this pivotal position, you will lead maintenance operations for asphalt production and crushing plants. Collaborating with the Manager, Equipment & Assets, you'll manage safety compliance, equipment maintenance schedules, and performance criteria. Your expertise in the Mines Act and maintenance practices will be essential for driving a culture of continuous improvement and safety. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and safety compliance
- Manage asphalt plant foremen and maintenance teams
- Ensure equipment meets maintenance standards and budgets
- Conduct safety meetings and training sessions
- Interpret project plans and ensure adherence to specifications
- Five years in a supervisory role in relevant disciplines
- Strong background in equipment maintenance
- Clean Drivers Abstract mandatory
- Excellent communication skills required
- Experience with Heavy Job/E360 preferred
