Become a vital part of the Wood family by providing dedicated in-home caregiving for the elderly in Maple Ridge, BC. This full-time position offers flexible hours and a starting salary of $24.50 per hour. We're looking for a compassionate Home Support Worker to assist with daily living activities for an elderly client. Your role will involve providing personal care, companionship, and help with meal preparation. With a work setting entirely on-site, you’ll be ensuring the comfort and safety of the client while promoting their independence at home. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene
- Help with regular exercise, such as walking
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Provide companionship and personal care
- Perform light housekeeping duties
- Education: Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 7 months of relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and reliability
- Must be flexible and organized
- Reference required for employment
